SIOUX CITY, IOWA -- The Bellevue University women's soccer team posted a 1-1 tie at Morningside College Wednesday night at Elwood Olsen Stadium.
Bellevue is now 0-1-3 while Morningside moved to 2-0-1.
The Mustangs struck first scoring in the 40th minute of action on Amy Samuelson's fourth goal of the season.
BU tied the game at 1-1 and forced overtime on Michelle Dolder's goal on a pass from Kate Petersen with just four minutes left in regulation.
Caitlin Stier registered five saves while Felicia Reimann tallied nine for MC.
BU outshot MC 16-10 and held a 9-3 edge in the second half.
BU will host Doane College on Monday, Sept. 9. Kick-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at Tranquility Park.
