Shuman, a three-time first team all-MCAC selection, led BU with eight goals and four assists for 20 points while anchoring a Bruin defense that registered 13 shutouts on the year. She also earned honorable mention NAIA All-American honors.
For the second straight season, Stigge earned first team all-MCAC honors after scoring two goals and one assist.
Stier, a transfer from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, collected 11 shutouts, 50 saves and held a 0.53 goals against average. She was named the MCAC Defensive Player of the Week three times and earned the NAIA National Defensive Player of the Week nod on Sept. 13.
The 2011 Bruins finished the season with a 14-2-3 overall record, winning the MCAC Tournament title and tying for the MCAC regular season crown with a 5-0-1 league record. Bellevue advanced to the NAIA National Championship for the second-straight season and ended the year with a No. 18 final national ranking.
