BARTLESVILLE, Okla. -- Junior Krystyn Yancone recorded her first career hat trick and freshman Meredith Shuman added two goals to lead the Bellevue University women's soccer team to an 8-0 shutout over Okahoma Wesleyan University Saturday afternoon in MCAC action.
Bellevue improved 10-6 overall and 2-1 in the MCAC. Oklahoma Wesleyan slipped to 1-11 and 0-3 in the league standings.
The eight goals by the Bruins was a season-high total.
Junior Erika Roberts, sophomore Kristen Cook, and freshman Jessica Damery also scored goals in the win. It marked the first goals of the season for Cook and Damery.
The Bruins will conclude the regular season when they host Central Christian next Saturday, Oct. 31, beginning at 1 p.m. at Tranquility Park.
