MITCHELL, S.D. -- Despite outshooting Dakota Wesleyan, 14-9, the Bellevue University women's soccer team was shut out, 3-0, Sunday afternoon in nonconference action.
The Bruins fell to 4-2 on the season with the loss. Dakota Wesleyan remained unbeaten, improving to 4-0-2 on the season.
Sophomore Jessica Nordlund recorded three shots, including two shots on goal in the loss.
Freshman Sarah Boone registered the loss while collecting four saves in 90 minutes of action.
Bellevue will return home with on Tuesday, Sept. 15, with a 3 p.m. contest against Ottawa University at Tranquility Park.
