Maria Pinedo earned NSAA Golfer of the Week honors for the third time this season.

BISMARCK, N.D. -- For the third time this season and the 11th time in her Bruin career, senior Maria Pinedo has been named the North Star Athletic Association Women's Golfer of the Week for her performance at last week's Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate played at the 5,900-yard, par-72 Lake Las Vegas Golf Club.
Pinedo placed seventh in the 45-player field and guided the Bruins to a fourth-place finish among the nine teams in the tournament.
Pinedo finished the tournament at 16-over par with rounds of 77, 76, and 79.
She posted nine birdies and 25 pars in the 54-hole invitational.
The Bruins next compete on Monday-Tuesday, Mar. 17-18, in the Kyle Blaser Invitational, which will be played at the Gaillardia Country Club in Oklahoma City, Okla.
