BU closes out fall with 4th place finish

SILVIS, Ill. -- The Bellevue University women's golf team finished the fall portion of their schedule with a fourth-place finish at the TPC Deere Run Invitational.

All nine teams battled through adverse weather conditions at the 5,842-yard, par-72 TPC Deere Run. Temperatures hovered in the low 50s throughout the day with wind gusts reaching 30 miles per hour.

Indiana Wesleyan University took home the team title at 123-over par while William Penn University and Lincoln University shared runner-up honors at 162-over. Bellevue was five strokes behind that duo at 167-over in fourth place.

Chloe Blandinieres placed 10th in the 50-golfer field, carding a 15-over final round.

Tilde-Li Andersson posted Bellevue's best round on Tuesday with a 12-over 84 as she moved up to 12th place on the individual leaderboard.

Ilysia Ibnu and Maria Pinedo finished in among a four-way tie for 14th place after shooting 20-over and 15-over, respectively.

Aaricia Noel-Traissac carded a 16-over finish round to move up one spot to 22nd place overall.

Megan Harty, playing as an individual, finished 39th overall with her best round of the event.

Indiana Wesleyan's Caroline Gibson held off William Penn's Olivia Lange; Gibson finished 19-over while Lange checked in at 27-over.
