RAPID CITY, S.D. -- The duo of Chloe Blandinieres and Tilde-Li Andersson posted identical scores of 10-over 82 in the first round of the 11-team Hardrocker Invitational, putting the Bellevue University women's golf team in fourth place in the 11-team field. The 36-hole tournament is being played at the 5,858-yard, par-72 Golf Club at Red Rock.
The Bruins shot a team score of 47-over par 335. BU is 14 strokes out of the lead of first-place Montana State-Billings, who is at 33-over par (321).
Blandinieres and Andersson are both tied for 10th place in the 60-player field. The duo both recorded two birdies and seven pars in their opening rounds.
Maria Pinedo is tied for 14th place after carding an 11-over 83. Similar to Blandinieres and Andersson, Pinedo also had two birdies and seven pars in the first round.
Ilysia Ibnu collected a birdie and six pars to highlight her round of 16-over 88, putting her in a tie for 25th place.
Aaricia Noel-Traissac posted an 18-over 90 and is in a tie for 30th place. She had two birdies and three pars in the first round.
Megan Harty, who was competing as an individual, registered a 12-over 84, putting her in a tie for 16th place in the individual standings. Harty collected eight pars in the opening round.
MSU-Billings' Orraya Tipasathien and Haylee Adams, and Doane's Connie Jarm are in a three-way tie for the individual lead at 6-over par.
Tuesday's final round will begin at 10 a.m. (CT).
