YANKTON, S.D. -- With four top-10 individual finishes, the Bellevue University women's golf team ran away with the team title in the season-opening Mount Marty Women's Invitational. The 36-hole tournament wrapped up today at the 5,819-yard, par-72 Hillcrest Golf and Country Club. 

BU finished the second round with a 33-over par team score of 321, combined with Thursday's 17-over 305, to finish at 50-over for the tournament. The Bruins raced ahead of second-place Doane by 17 strokes. Morningside finished four strokes out of second place at 71-over par. 

Maria Pinedo was the top BU golfer on the day, carding a 7-over par 79 to match her opening-round score. She finished at 14-over par for the tournament, putting her in eighth place in the 73-player field. 

Ilysia Ibnu was the top BU finisher in the tournament, coming in in a tie for second place at 9-over par. She registered a 9-over 81 on Friday to go with Thursday's opening round of even-par 72. 

Chloe Blandinieres finished the tournament in seventh place at 13-over par with an 8-over score of 80 in the second round, combined with her 5-over 77 on Thursday. 

Tilde-Li Andersson came in at 10th place at 14-over par with rounds of 77 and 81. 

Megan Harty, who competed as an individual, finished 12th at 18-over par with rounds of 76 and 86. 

Aaricia Noel-Traissac completed BU's scoring, finishing at 22nd overall at 25-over par with rounds of 80 and 89.

Doane's Sydney Streeter won the individual title at 7-over par. Her teammate, Connie Jarm, tied Ibnu for second at 9-over par.  

The Bruins will travel to Broomfield, Colo., on Sept. 9-10 to compete in the Swan Memorial Golf Tournament at the Broadlands Golf Club.
