SILVIS, ILL. -- The Bellevue University women's golf team finished in eighth place at the 13-team TPC Deere Run being played at the 5,983-yard, par-72 TPC Deere Run. The 54-hole tournament concluded on Tuesday with a single round of 18 holes.
The Bruins shot team scores of 356-341-340 to finish the tournament at 174-over par.
Savannah College of Art & Design-Atlanta won the team title with a three-round total of 80-over par (312-323-309). Marian University placed second, 13 strokes back at 93-over par (321-317-309).
The top BU golfer in the tournament was junior Maria Pinedo who fired an 11-over par 83 on Tuesday and finished the tournament at 38-over par, putting her in a tie for 23rd place in the 72-player field.
Chloe Blandinieres tied for 40th with rounds of 96, 82, and 87.
Megan Harty tied for 38th place with a 54-hole total of 48-over par with rounds of 84, 90, and 90.
Ilysia Ibnu carded rounds of 93, 85, and 89 and finished in a tie for 42nd place.
Aaricia Noel-Traissac finished at 52-over par and in 44th place. She recorded scores of 93, 94, and 81.
Marian's Sidney Parmer was the individual champion, finishing the tournament at 11-over par. SCAD-Atlanta's Holly Lau was two strokes back at 13 over par. She was the lone golfer in the tournament to post a round under par, registering a 2-under 70 in today's third round.
The tournament concludes the Bruins' fall portion of the season. Bellevue will resume play in the spring of 2024.
