Bruins close out fall slate in strong fashion

ANKENY, Iowa -- Playing their final event of the fall schedule, Maria Pinedo and Tylah Saifoloi finished second and third, respectively, while all three Bellevue University women's golfers recorded top 10 finishes at the Grand View Invitational.

Maria Pinedo remained consistent, firing a 7-over 78 one day after shooting 6-over to finished the tournament with a score of 155 (+13) and alone in second place.

Tylah Saifoloi shot a Tuesday-best 4-over to card a 75 on the day bringing her 36-hole total to a 14-over 156. She placed third in the 33-golfer field.

Grand View's Brooke Boardman shot 5-over on the day to finish at 8-over for the tournament. She captured the individual crown and led Grand View to a 45-stroke victory over Iowa Lakes in the team competition.

Megan Harty fired an 11-over 82 as she finished in a three-way tie for eighth place with a two-day total of 161 (+19).
