Three in Top 10 at Nebraska Intercollegiate

NORFOLK, Neb. -- All three Bellevue University women's golfers are amongst the top 10 after the first round of play at the 2021 Nebraska Intercollegiate Championship.

Tylah Saifoloi was the top Bruin golfer on the day, shooting a 9-over first round to tie for sixth place. She picked up her lone birdie of the round on the 18th hole.

Allison Temple and Megan Harty are tied for eighth place after carding matching 10-over rounds. Each had one birdie with Temple notching hers on Hole No. 6 and Harty doing so on Hole No. 12.

Wayne State's Jazmine Taylor leads the 20-golfer field at 1-over with teammates Abby Bordersen (+4) and Paige Peters (+6) in second and third, respectively. Peters is tied for third with Concordia's Kendra Placke while Kendall Colby (+8) of Nebraska-Kearney rounds out the top five.
