NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas -- Led by Tylah Saifoloi, the Bellevue University women's golf team is currently in third place after the opening round of play at the BU Spring Break Classic being played at the par-71 Landa Park Golf Course. 

Texas Wesleyan leads the five-team field after posting a first-round team score of 324. Wayland Baptist is 10 strokes back at 334. Bellevue shot a team score of 342, led by Saifoloi's 9-over 81, which puts her in a tie for fourth place in the 23-player field. 

Allison Temple and Mikayla King are both tied for eighth place after each posted 12-over par 83's on Sunday. 

Autumn Fateley is in 19th place after carding a 95. 

Wayland Baptist's Change Van Zyl leads the field at 6-over par (77). Texas Wesleyan's Joely Henderson and Brook Sullivan are in second and third, respectively, at 7-over and 9-over par. 

Monday's final round will begin with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
