MADISON, S.D. -- Sophomore Allison Temple was named the North Star Athletic Association Women's Golfer of the Week after winning the Bellevue University Fall Invitational earlier this week.
Temple fired rounds of 78 and 77 on the 5,828-yard, par-71 Platteview Golf Club course, finishing at 13-over par for the tournament. It marked the first victory of her Bruin career.
She helped lead the Bruins to a second-place finish in the tournament, earning individual medalist honors in the 26-player field.
Temple currently leads the 2018 Bruins with a 78.8 strokes-per-round average.
Bellevue is competing today at the College of St. Mary Matthew Goette Fall Invitational at the Tiburon Golf Course in Omaha.
