
OWASSO, Okla. -- Led by sophomore Faustina Peve's fifth-place individual finish, the Bellevue University women's golf team finished in fifth place in the seven-team Hillcat Classic hosted by Rogers State University at the par-72 Bailey Ranch Golf Course.
Oklahoma Christian University captured the team title, finishing with a 623 (308-315) two-day team total. The Bruins carded a 36-hole total of 688 (342-346).
Peve shot a 7-over 79 for a 36-hole total of 13-over 157. Kim Moore and Allison Temple both tied for 27th-place with identical two-round totals of 177 (88-89). Madison Brooks tied for 29th place with a 179 (88-91) total.
Rogers State's Jess Whitting was the individual medalist at 3-over par with a 147 (74-73) total.
The Bruins will travel to Oklahoma City on Monday-Tuesday, April 9-10 for Oklahoma City Classic.
