BU closes fall schedule with 13th place finish

COHUTTA, Ga. -- The Bellevue University women's golf team wrapped up the fall portion of their schedule on Tuesday with a 13th place finish in the Dalton State Invite played at 5,880-yard, Par-72 Nob North Golf Course.

BU shot 344 as a team just four strokes lower than their performance in yesterday's first round. Their two-day total of 684 saw the Bruins finish 13th in the 15-team field.

Faustina Peve again shot a team-low 80 on the day to finish in 25th place in the 77 golfer field. She was trailed by Kim Moore (87), Madison Brooks (88), and Allison Temple (89) on the day as that trio finished in 62nd, 51st, and 54th, respectively. Bri Stagge – Bellevue's final scorer – shot 92 on the day and finished in 71st.

Host Dalton State won the team title with a two-day total of 602. Caroline Griffin and Tia Teiniketo tied for first individually with a score of 1-under, 143 each.

Bellevue will spend the winter preparing for their spring schedule which will be announced in the near future.
