VALLEY, Neb. -- Due to wet and rainy course conditions at The Pines Country Club, the second and final round of the Bellevue University Fall Invite has been cancelled.
Monday's first-round results will be the final results for the tournament.
Morningside earned the team title in the nine-team tournament finishing one stroke ahead of the Bruins at 20-over par 308. The Bruins registered a team score of 309, with Faustina Peve being the top BU golfer, finishing in a tie for fourth at 2-over par.
Iowa Western's Cassidy Evrendiadis was individual medalist after firing an even-par 72 on Monday.
The Bruins will travel to Oklahoma City on Oct. 16-17 for the Susie Maxwell Berning Classic, hosted by Oklahoma City University.
