MEDORA, N.D. -- The Bellevue University women's golf team sits in third place following the second round of play at the North Star Athletic Association Championships being hosted by Dickinson State University at the Bully Pulpit Golf Course.
The tournament served as the fall portion of the NSAA Championships, with the final two rounds being played in April in Albert Lea, Minn.
The Bruins improved by 16 strokes over Monday's first round, finishing with a two-round team total of 684 (350-334). The University of Jamestown leads the tournament with a 672 (337-335) total. Viterbo University is in second with a 676 (339-337) total.
Faustina Peve is in third place with a two-round total of 19-over-par 163 (84-79). Kim Moore is in eighth place with a 172 (87-85) total. Madison Brooks finished with a 36-hole total of 174 (90-84) and is in ninth place. Morgan Hazzard is tied for 10th place with a 175 (89-86) total. Allison Temple is tied for 21st with a 191 (94-97) total.
Jamestown's Annie Nelson leads the tournament with a 149 (71-78) two-round total.
