OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. -- Three Bruin golfers earned top 25 finishes to help the Bellevue University women's golf team tie for fifth place at the Oklahoma City University Spring Classic at the par-72, 5,950 yard Lincoln Park East Golf Course.

Headed into Tuesday's third – and final – round, Bellevue was locked in a tie for sixth place but paced by three players shooting sub-80 rounds BU moved up a spot in the tournament standings.

Oklahoma City won the individual title by a comfortable 43 stroke margin with a team score of 886. Texas Wesleyan placed second and Iowa Western CC came third.

Carolina Goodin of Oklahoma Wesleyan won the individual title with a three-round score of 217 (+1) after beginning the day three strokes back in third place. She edged out Cassidy Evreniadis by a single stroke for the win despite a third round 5-under performance by Evreniadis.

Faustina Peve carded a team-low round of 77 to earn a top ten finish at the tournament. Ivane Helias (14th) and Wendy Monfort (25th) shot 79 and 78, respectively, to join Peve among the field's top 25 golfers.

Morgan Hazzard recorded an 83 and Bri Stagge shot 101 on the day for 48th and 69th place finishes, respectively.

Next on the docket for the Bruins are the final two rounds of the North Star Athletic Association Tournament to be played on Tuesday-Wednesday, April 25-26 in Wisconsin. Bellevue holds a 25-stroke lead in the event with the top finishing team earning an automatic bid to the NAIA National Tournament in West Palm Beach, Fla.
