Freshman Faustina Peve earned North Star Athletic Association Golfer of the Week honors for her performances last week in the fall portion of the NSAA Golf Championships in Albert Lea, Minn.
Peve helped lead No. 10-ranked Bellevue to a 25-stroke advantage after two rounds of the NSAA Championships. She has a four-stroke lead in the individual race. Peve carded an 80 in the first round and improved her score to 77 in the second round, recording a total of 157 strokes.
It marked the second time this year Peve has earned the honor.
The Bruins will host the Bellevue Fall Invite on Monday-Tuesday, Oct. 3-4 at the Platteview Golf Club in Bellevue.
