MADISON, S.D. -- Ivane Helias was named the North Star Athletic Association's Golfer of the Week for her performance last week at the Oklahoma City University Spring Invitational.
A freshman from Saint-Maxime Hauterive, France, Helias carded a 1-under 71 in the opening round of the OKCU Spring Invitational for Bellevue. She was the top BU finisher in the tournament, where she birdied 11 holes including a tournament single-round best seven in the first round.
Helias finished 13th overall, helping the Bruins to a sixth place finish as a team in the tournament.
The Bruins will compete in the Grand View Spring Invitational on Monday-Tuesday, April 18-19, at Otter Creek Golf Course in Ankeny, Iowa.
