OXBOW, N.D. -- Senior Renee Santoyo was the individual winner as the Bellevue University women's golf team placed four golfers in the top five overall to win the North Star Athletic Association Fall Qualifier played at the Oxbow Country Club.
The course, Oxbow 1 W, is a 5,832 yard par 72 with a rating of 122.
Santoyo followed up her first round 76 with a second round 77 to claim a two-stroke victory over freshman teammate Wendy Monfort. Monfort shot a second round-best 74 to place second overall with a two-day total of 155.
Senior Karissa Moreland placed third overall while classmate Natalia Soria placed fifth. Moreland fired an 85 today to finish with a score of 158 while Soria carded a second round 77 to finish with a 159.
Senior Maria Saavedra, Bellevue's only non-scoring golfer, finished seventh overall with a 36-hole score of 164.
As a team Bellevue defeated Viterbo by a comfortable 50-stroke margin, 619-699.
