Moreland, Santoyo named WGCA All-American Scholars

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. -- Juniors Karissa Moreland and Renee Santoyo have been named Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars in an announcement made today by the WGCA. 

A total of 758 women's collegiate golfers from NCAA Division I, II, III and NAIA were recognized with the academic honor. 

Moreland and Santoyo are both business administration majors. 

In order to be selected to the All-American Scholar Team, an athlete must maintain a minumum cumulative GPA of 3.50. 

The Bruins captured their fourth-straight MCAC Tournament championship in 2015, advancing to the NAIA National Tournament for the third-consecutive season, finishing seventh in the final national rankings.
