
PRIMM VALLEY, Nev. -- Led by Natalia Soria's 3-over par 75, the Bellevue University women's golf team is currently in sixth place in the 12-team Battle at Primm being held at the Primm Valley Golf Club just outside of Las Vegas.
The Bruins shot a team score of 23-over par, 311. Northwood (Fla.) University leads the field with a team total of 6-over 294. Northwood's Elsa Westin leads the 66-player field after shooting a 6-under 66 on the day.
Soria is currently tied for ninth place individually. Renee Santoyo is tied for 14th with a 4-over 76. Charlene Dubois and Karissa Moreland are both tied for 34th after both shot an 8-over par 80. Maria Saavedra shot a 9-over 81 and is tied for 39th.
The tournament concludes on Tuesday (Mar. 24) with a 9 a.m. shotgun start.
