LINCOLN, Neb. - Junior Natalia Soria (La Paz, Bolivia) shot a 2-over 74 in the third and final round of the 2014 Chip-N Club Invitational, hosted by the University of Nebraska at Wilderness Ridge Golf Course, helping lead the Bellevue University women's golf team to a seventh-place team finish in the season-opening event. 

Soria finished the tournament with a score of 228, 12-over par, to place 16th in the field of 62 competitors.

Juniors Charlene Dubois (Salbris, France), Renee Santoyo (Guadalupe, Mexico), and Karissa Moreland (North Platte, Neb.) all shot sub-80 on a day that was marked by consistent rain and included a lightning delay. Dubois shot 77 while both Santoyo and Moreland shot 79. Junior Maria Saavedra (Mexico City, Mexico) shot 80 to round out the five Bellevue competitors.

Bellevue finished with a final team score of 935 (71-over). Ohio State won the event, which included nine NCAA Division I teams and Bellevue, with a score of 879 (15-over).

BU will next compete at the Susie Maxwell Berning Classic beginning on Monday, Sept. 15 at the Lincoln Park Golf Course in Oklahoma City, Okla.
