
OSKALOOSA, Iowa -- The Bellevue University women's golf team won its fourth team title this fall after capturing the MidWestOne Bank Invitational hosted by William Penn University at Edmundson Golf Course on Saturday.
Bellevue finished with a total team score of 633 and won the tournament by 11 strokes over host William Penn.
Renee Santoyo (75-77--152) and Natalia Soria (75-79--154) paced the Bruins with first and second place finishes individually.
Maria Saavedra placed sixth with a total of 163 while Karissa Moreland finished in seventh place overall with tournament total of 164.
Christina VonRiesen carded a two-day total of 179 to tie for 23rd overall.
Competing as an individual, Jayme Harmelink tallied a pair of rounds of 86 to tie for 12th place.
The Bruins will host the Bellevue Shootout on Friday, Oct. 18 at the Pines Country Club in Valley, Neb.
