PAPILLION, Neb. -- Renee Santoyo won the individual title to pace the Bellevue University women's golf team to a first place finish in the six-team Bellevue Fall Invitational at Eagle Hills Golf Course on Tuesday.
Bellevue finished the two-day tournament with a score of 624. Iowa Western Community College placed in second with a total of 641.
Santoyo fired the lowest round of the tournament with a three-over-par 75 in the second round.
Natalia Soria finished runner-up with a two-round total of 154 (78-76) while Maria Saavedra (79-77--156) tied for third place.
Karissa Moreland also finished in the top 10 with a final score of 163 to place ninth.
Christina VonRiesen (84-83--167) finished in 12th while Jayme Harmelink (87-82--169) tied for 13th place overall.
Santoyo, Soria and Saavedra were each named to the all-tournament team.
The Bruins will return to action next Monday-Tuesday, Sept. 16-17 for the Susie Maxwell Berning Classic in Oklahoma City, Okla.
