
GRANGER, Iowa -- Led by Renee Santoyo and Maria Saavedra, the Bellevue University women's golf team captured the Grand View Classic title Tuesday afternoon at the Jester Park Golf Course.
The Bruins finished the tournament with a two-round total of 615 (304-311), 25 strokes ahead of second-place Grand View (320-320 -- 640).
Santoyo and Saaverda tied Grand View's Kensey Rottinghaus for the individual title as all three fired two-day totals of 7-over par, 149.
Izzy Hernandez finished in fourth place with a 36-hole total of 154 (75-79). Christina VonRiesen placed ninth with a 164 (82-82) total. Taylor Byers tied for 12th place at 169 (88-81).
