Jessica Guyle enters her second season on the Bellevue softball staff after a standout career with the Bruins from 2010-11.
A two-time first team all-MCAC selection, Guyle led the Bruins to two-straight MCAC regular season and tournament titles, helping BU advance to the NAIA Softball National Championship in each of her two seasons. Guyle was a two-year starter as the Bruins’ lead-off batter and shortstop.
She was named the MCAC Newcomer of the Year during her junior campaign in 2010, leading the Bruins with a .400 batting average, 28 stolen bases, 42 runs scored and three triples. Guyle finished her senior season with a team-leading 28 stolen bases, while batting .352 with 34 runs scored, four doubles, three triples and 22 RBIs.
An excellent student, Guyle was named a two-time MCAC Scholar-Athlete as well as a Daktronics NAIA-Scholar-Athlete. Guyle graduated in 2011 with a degree in psychology and is currently pursuing her master’s degree from Bellevue University.
