MAYVILLE, N.D. -- Due to rain all day in the forecast, the Bellevue University softball team's final two regular-season games at Mayville State University have been cancelled. The games will not be made up.
The Bruins, who won the NSAA regular-season title, earned the No. 1 seed in next week's NSAA Tournament which will be played May 5-7 in Watertown S.D. at the Premier Softball Complex.
Bellevue finished the regular season with a 38-11 overall record and a 24-2 mark in the NSAA. The Bruins are riding a 14-game winning streak heading into the NSAA Tournament. BU is receiving votes in the latest NAIA Top 25 Coaches' Poll.
Times and pairings will be announced later this weekend.
