BELLEVUE, Neb. -- The Bellevue University softball swept the weekly conference honors today as Taylor Mohler was named the MCAC Pitcher of the Week and Ashley Gigax earned MCAC Player of the Week honors.

It marked the fourth-straight week Mohler has been tabbed as the conference's top pitcher. Gigax earned her third player-of-the-week award.

Mohler went 4-0 on the week, allowing no runs while striking out 32 batters and walking just four in 17 2/3 innings pitched. She fired a no-hitter, allowing just one runner to reach base in an 8-0 shutout over Haskell on April 11.

Gigax batted .529 (9-of-17) on the week, while registering three multi-hit games to help the Bruins to a perfect 6-0 record. Her 1.176 slugging percentage, courtesy of a pair of doubles and three home runs, was tops on the team.

The Bruins, who have won 12-straight games, are 27-8-1 on the season and a perfect 12-0 in the MCAC.

Bellevue travels to Lincoln tonight to take on Nebraska Wesleyan in a 5 p.m non-conference doubleheader.
