BELLEVUE, Neb. -- Bellevue University concluded Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference action with a pair of five inning wins past York College. The Bruins took game one, 14-1, before posting an 11-0 win in the finale.

Bellevue won its ninth-straight game and improved to 32-14 and 16-4 in the MCAC while York fell to 5-37 overall and 4-14 in league play.

The Bruins will conclude the regular season with a nonconference game at Morningside College on Monday, April 28 at 3 p.m. in Sioux City, Iowa.

Bellevue 14, York 1 (5 innings)

The Bruins outhit the Panthers by 13 and scored two or more runs in the first three innings en route to a 14-1 win, in five innings, in the opener.

Shelby Kindelin and Augusta Ratliff collected three hits each and combined for six RBIs and five runs to lead the offensive attack. Ashley Gigax tallied three RBIs and Katie Malloy went 2-for-2 at the plate with two RBIs and scored three runs.

Kelli Fisher limited the Panthers to just two hits and struck out three as she improved to 16-4 on the season.

BU unloaded eight runs on six hits to take a quick 8-0 lead in the first. Sydney Robertson and Kindelin tallied RBI hits while Gigax blasted a three-run double and Ratliff added a three-run home run.

Alyssa Matoba and Katy Shupe drew bases-loaded walks, Kindelin hit a sacrifice fly and Malloy registered an RBI single as the Bruins took a 12-0 lead in the second.

Solo homers by Malloy and Ratliff extended the Bruins' lead to 14-0 in the third.

The Panthers scored their lone run in the fourth following a Bruin error.

Morgan Moore took the loss for the Panthers and dropped to 2-13. She gave up 14 runs on 12 hits in only 2.1 innings in the circle.

Bellevue 11, York 0 (5 innings)

Eight Bruins tallied hits and Taylor Mohler threw a no-hitter as Bellevue completed the sweep, 11-0.

Mohler struck out nine batters to improve to 15-7 in the circle.

The Bruins scored on a wild pitch and Gigax blasted a two-run home run while Courtney Schendt notched a two-run double to open up a 5-0 lead in the first.

Ratliff and Kaitlyn Goney notched two RBIs apiece and Schendt hit her first career home run to make the score, 10-0, in the bottom of the third.

Ratliff's second double of the game scored Malloy to make the score, 11-0.

Vanessa Rodriguez fell to 1-3 after allowing 10 runs in 2.2 innings.
