BALDWIN CITY, Kan. -- The Bellevue University softball team saw its five-game winning streak halted as Baker University swept the Bruins, 3-1 and 3-1, Friday afternoon in non-conference action at Cavaness Softball Field.
The Bruins (22-15) return to conference action with a 12 p.m. doubleheader at Central Christian College on Saturday (April 23). Baker improved to 30-18 on the season with the sweep.
Senior Allie Bartley hit her first collegiate career home run in the first game.
