
GREENWOOD, Ind. -- In an announcement made today by the College Sports Communicators (CSC), senior Richard Marcoux (Omaha, Neb.) garnered Academic All-District accolades and is now eligible for CSC Academic All-American honors.
Student-athletes competing in cross country/track from NCAA Division I, II, and III, as well as the NAIA, were recognized for this honor.
Marcoux is majoring in Education and has maintained a 3.793 GPA. He is a four-time NSAA Scholar-Athlete in track and cross country and has also earned Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete recognition.
The 2023 North Star Athletic Association men's cross country champion, Marcoux qualified for the NAIA Cross Country National Championships and was named the NSAA Cross Country Runner of the Week on three occasions.
He earned all-NSAA (Outdoor) honors in the 1,500 meters by placing second in a time of 4:03.26.
The CSC Academic All-American teams for cross country/track will be announced on July 10.
