POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. -- For the first time in his career, senior goalkeeper Juan Cale was named the Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference's Defensive Player of the Week, announced by the league office on Monday.
Cale earned his first win in Bellevue's 1-0 win against Southwestern Christian University on Oct. 13. The Cali, Colombia native recorded one save in last week's victory.
Bellevue (7-6-1, 4-0 MCAC ) is on a six-game winning streak and will host Waldorf College at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 17, at Tranquililty Park.
