DES MOINES, Iowa -- Fourteenth-ranked Grand View University scored two early goals en route to a 3-0 shut out over Bellevue University in non-conference men's soccer action Wednesday night at Cownie Complex.
With the loss, the Bruins dropped to 11-5-1 on the season, while Grand View improved to 15-1 overall.
The Vikings' Per Poulsen scored at 3:09 and Jonny MacAdam made it 2-0 with a score at 21:09. The Vikings' made the final 3-0 with a late goal by Noel Medina at 86:19.
Bellevue managed just four shots and two shots on goal in the match. Senior James Evison registered three of the team's four shots, one on goal.
Senior Sebastian Narvaez took the loss, collecting six saves, while falling to 10-5-1 on the year.
The Bruins return to conference action when they travel to McPherson, Kan. this Saturday (Oct. 30) for a 3:30 p.m. match at Central Christian College.
