ONALASKA, Wis. -- All five Bruin golfers are in the top five at the No. 22 Bellevue University men's golf team leads after one round of play at North Star Athletic Association Men's Golf Championship being played at The Club at Cedar Creek.

Cayden Wynne is the clubhouse leader, after shooting an even-par 71 on Monday. He birdied four holes on the day (No. 2, 7, 12, 15), bogeyed a pair (No. 13, 14), and shook off a double bogey on No. 10.

Dylan Rodgers, Randy Christiansen, and Totte Uhlan are all tied for second, two strokes off the pace. Uhlan and Rodgers each birdied four holes and Christiansen finished with three birdies.

Sam Johnson is tied with Thomas Houdayer of Waldorf in fifth after shooting a 4-over 75. He sank a pair of birdies, doing so on No. 8 and No. 12.

As a team, Bellevue shot a 6-over 290 and holds a 24-stroke lead over second place Waldorf (314). Host Viterbo (316) is just two shots back of Waldorf in third. Dickinson State (330), Valley City (343), and Mayville State (346) round out the field.

Tomorrow's second round begins with a shotgun start at 9 a.m.
