MADISON, S.D. -- Bellevue University freshman Alex Zillig (La Vista, Neb.) has been named the North Star Athletic Association Men's Golfer of the Week for the second-straight week and third time this season as announced by the conference office.
Zillig had the Bruins in first place after 18 holes of the Wildcat Cup at the Brickyard. He was tied for third among individuals with a score of 70 (-2) at the Brickyard Crossing course.
After earning the award, Zillig helped the Bruins finish off their victory in the Wildcat Cup at the Brickyard. He finished the tournament in fifth place at 1-over (70-75—145).
Next on the schedule for the Bruins is a trip to Fort Dodge, Iowa for the Iowa Central Community College Open on Sunday-Monday, Apr. 14-15.
