SILVIS, Ill.  -- The Bellevue University men's golf team was unable to build on the momentum they established in the fourth place first round as the Bruins slipped to 11th place on Saturday in the 23-team field at the TPC Deere Run Invitational played at the par-71, 6,603-yard TPC at Deere Run.

Taylor University took home the team title after firing 8-over as a unit to earn a comfortable 10-stroke win over the University of Northwestern Ohio.

Bellevue began the day in fourth place but four of five scoring players saw their scores dip on day two.

Alec Dutkowski (Taylor) and Tom Westenberger (Iowa Western CC) took home individual medalist honors after tying at 3-under 139 for the event.

Arzate was BU's top finisher, tying for fourth place with a 36-hole total of 1-over 141.

Andre Becerra tied for 45th place with a score of 11-over. Juan Gomez (t-57th) and Lautaro Marzilio (t-74th) were both off their first-round pace as well.

The Bruins return to action on Monday-Tuesday, Apr. 9-10 when they travel to Indianapolis, Ind. for the Wildcat Cup at the Brickyard.
