Bruins sit in 11th place after 36 holes in Battle at Primm

LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- Fernando Arzate and Lautaro Marzilio co-led the Bellevue University men's golf team which is situated in 11th place after two rounds in the prestigious 18-team Battle at Primm being hosted by Grand View University at the par-70, Primm Valley Golf Club.

Fernando Arzate and Lautaro Marzilio are both 3-over with scores of 143 to pace to the Bruins. They are tied for 40th overall in the 91-golfer field.

Juan Gomez (+4, 144), Andre Beccera (+6, 146), and Inaki Aldao (+14, 154) round out the Bruin lineup.

As a team BU has posted a score of 15-over par 575. Oklahoma City leads the tournament with a 36-hole total of 24-under par 536, eight strokes ahead of second place Texas Wesleyan (-16, 544).

Oklahoma City's David Meyers and Wayland Baptist's Andrew Williamson are the clubhouse leaders with identical scores of 10-under 130.

Final round action takes place Tuesday morning.
