POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. -- Sophomore Jose Vega was named the MCAC Men's Golfer of the Week in an announcement made today by the league office.
Vega, a native of Medellin, Colombia, carded a 2-under-par 70 to take first-place in the Southwestern Christian University Spring Invitational last week for his second individual title of the season.
The Bruins have won six team titles in 2012-13.
