Final Results
OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. -- The Bellevue University men's golf team placed third at the Southwestern Christian University Invitational, the program's first tournament.
Javier Franco shot even-par (68-74--142) to tie for seventh overall, while Jeff Shermoen finished in a tie for 11th place with a two-over par and two-day score of 144. Other Bruin golfers included Brady Vancura (T19), Warren Martin (T30) and Tanner Alder (T38).
Bellevue concluded the tournament with a total score of 576. Southern Nazarene University placed first with a score of 572.
The Bruins return to action next Monday-Tuesday, Sept. 12-13, when they compete in the Central Christian Classic in McPherson, Kan.
