Richie Moore finished his 14th season as a member of the Bruin baseball coaching staff in the 2022-23 school year. Moore’s on-field priorities focus on the pitchers. He has assisted coach Malley in developing a very proficient pitching staff that has produced over a dozen professional contracts in the past 13 years from the Bruin pitching staff.
Moore competed for the Bruins during the 2010 season after transferring from Grand View University in Des Moines, Iowa. An excellent student, Moore earned 2009-10 MCAC Scholar-Athlete honors.
Moore serves as the pitching coach for St. Albert Catholic High School in Council Bluffs, Iowa during the summer. He has promoted Bellevue University and the Bruin baseball program as a coach, clinician and support staff at regional tournaments, camps, clinics, showcases and tryouts for the Major League Baseball Scouting Bureau and USA Baseball.
