NAIA Release

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Bellevue University junior catcher Logan Grant (Chestermere, Alberta) was named a Second Team NAIA All-American today by the NAIA-Baseball Coaches' Association All-America Committee.

The award adds to the growing list of postseason accolades for Grant, who was previously recognized as the North Star Athletic Association Player of the Year, a first-team all-NSAA selection, NSAA Gold Glove winner at catcher, and the BU Male Athlete of the Year.

Grant batted .346 with a 1.148 OPS this season while playing and starting all 53 games. He led the team in numerous offensive categories, including home runs (20), doubles (16), extra-base hits (37), RBI (66), and total bases (149). His home run, total base, and RBI totals all led the North Star, and he finished the year second in doubles. He finished second on the team with 71 hits and also scored 33 runs.

The selection of Grant as a second-team All-American marks the 14th-straight season in which Bellevue has had an All-American representative.

Bellevue finished the 2024 season with a 39-14 overall record, going 21-2 in NSAA play to capture both the regular season and tournament titles. The Bruins, who spent the entire season ranked inside the top 20 in the NAIA Coaches' Poll, made their 26th appearance in the NAIA National Tournament when they played in the Opening Round – Williamsburg Bracket.
