Home runs off the bats of Anthony Lind and Alec Ackerman in the seventh gave the Bruins some insurance in the form of a seven-run cushion.

Concordia made things interesting in the bottom of the seventh, loading the bases with one out a scoring a pair of runs before Cade Herrmann finally slammed the door with a strikeout of Matthew Rhoades to end the game.

McMan (1-1) was credited the win with his two innings of relief work while Ernie Snyder (0-1) took the loss for CUNE, yielding a pair of runs in just two-thirds of an inning.
