BABSON PARK, Fla. -- Quirino Esquivel's bases clearing double in the bottom of the seventh broke open a close game as No. 18 Webber International downed the No. 23 Bellevue University baseball team 5-1 in non-conference action at the Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center Field on Monday evening.

Quirino Esquivel delivered the knockout blow in a 5-1 Webber International victory over Bellevue on Monday evening.
The Warriors broke through and opened the scoring in the sixth after stranding eight runners on base through the first five innings of play.
Quinsly Balentien started things with a one-out single before stealing second and advancing a further 90 feet on a throwing error. Garrett Martin then delivered a run-scoring single to center field to plate Balentien and give the home-standing Warriors a 1-0 advantage.
Webber added to the lead in the seventh when Rougie Odor scored on a passed ball four issued to Carlo Mancillas.
Leading 2-0 with one out and the bases loaded in the bottom of the seventh, Esquivel delivered a three-run double to left the put Webber up by a commanding 5-0 score.
Stuart Eurich broke up the shutout with a two-out, RBI-single in the ninth inning that plated Daniel Teasley.
Bruin starter Colton Walker (0-2) delivered a quality start as he limited Webber to just two earned runs (three in total) over 6.1 innings of work.
Zak Spivy (4-2) went the distance on the hill for Webber. He limited BU to just one run on nine hits while striking out five against three walks.
The teams combined to leave 22 runners on base – 13 for Webber, nine for Bellevue.
