KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced today that 411 baseball student-athletes, including Bellevue University's Reid Feeley, Hunter Robson, and Dylan Thorp have been named 2018 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.

In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status.

Taylor University and William Woods University led all schools with 10 individuals honored apiece.

The Bruins wrapped up the 2018 season with a 38-23 overall record (17-5 NSAA) and won their second North Star Tournament title in the last three seasons. Bellevue earned their eighth-straight NAIA Opening Round bid and 21st NAIA National Tournament Appearance in the program's storied history.
