Senior Osvaldo Gonzalez (Miami, Fla.) set a tone with his first inning home run as Bellevue scored early an often, building a 3-0 lead before Benedictine came to bat in the game on the strength of a two-run homer by Gonzalez and an RBI-double by Brasher.
Junior Ross Feeley (Tehachapi, Calif.) went deep with a solo shot an inning later and Brasher clubbed a two-run dinger in the top of the third to put BU up 6-0 at that point.
