DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- No. 14 Bellevue University scored four runs in the 12th inning en route to a 5-1 upset win at third-ranked Embry-Riddle (Fla.) Aeronautical University Sunday night in nonconference action at Sliwa Stadium.

With the win, Bellevue moves to 5-5 overall while Embry-Riddle falls to 10-8.

ERAU scored the first run of the game on Kyle Chastain's infield single that allowed Jordan Johnson to cross home plate in the seventh inning.

BU tied the contest in the top of the eighth after a throwing error by Eagles' third baseman J Rhet Montana scored Zack Clark from third base.

Frank Haskett, Bryce Kelly and Kyle Kinman recorded RBI hits as the Bruins exploded for four runs in the 12th inning to win, 5-1.

Brennan Henry held ERAU without a hit through six innings and registered 11 strikeouts in seven innings of work. Henry, who finished with a no-decision, allowed just one hit.

Steve Sarcone earned the win after in relief and improved to 1-1. He tallied four strikeouts in five innings.

Eagles starting pitcher Clayton Wagner recorded 11 strikeouts in 7.1 innings pitched. He gave up three hits and surrendered one unearned run. David Lidyard took the loss out of the bullpen for ERAU and fell to 2-1.

The Bruins and Eagles will play a single nine-inning game tomorrow at 5:00 p.m. CST.
