LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- The Continental Athletic Conference announced the nearly 600 student-athletes from 18 member institutions that earned 2021-22 Academic All-Conference Team recognition. From Bellevue, there were 15 women's soccer student-athletes and nine men's soccer student-athletes earning the distinction.
The CAC annually honors student-athletes having a 3.2 or higher cumulative grade point average, complete two consecutive terms at their institution, and competed on the varsity level in one of the 11 sports for which the conference sponsors a championship.
In 2021-22, a total of 591 student-athletes earned academic all-conference honors, with 15 being recognized in multiple sports.
Both the women's and men's soccer teams open their respective seasons on Aug. 18 at home. The women kick off the action with a 4:30 p.m. fixture against Dakota Wesleyan before the men host Doane for a 7:30 p.m. start.
