BISMARCK, N.D. -- A total of 71 Bellevue University student-athletes earned North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) Scholar-Athlete honors for the 2020-21 academic year in an announcement made today by the conference office.
Among the league's eight member institutions, 745 student-athletes garnered NSAA Scholar-Athlete recognition.
The 745 recipients, participating in NSAA fall, winter, and spring sports (women's and men's cross country, women's volleyball, football, women's and men's basketball, women's and men's golf, women's and men's track & field, softball, and baseball) were recognized for their outstanding academic accomplishment in the classroom and on the playing field.
To be eligible for NSAA Academic Scholar-Athlete recognition, a student-athlete must achieve a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale.
